Product Vision
We are building a career evaluation product for job seekers targeting Data Analyst roles, with a growth path toward Data Scientist and Analytics Engineer positions, within the Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services industry (NAICS 5182).
Our product is designed to help a job seeker answer:
- Which skills matter most for analytics roles in the data processing and cloud hosting industry?
- How do salary, experience, and remote-work patterns vary within this space?
- Which opportunities best match a candidate’s current profile, and where should they upskill?
Product Question
Within the Data Processing, Hosting, and Related Services industry (NAICS 5182), which skills and tools most strongly separate Data Analyst roles from Data Scientist / ML-oriented roles, and how should a job seeker prioritize their learning to move from one to the other?
This places our project in the Analytics, Data Science, and ML Career Pathways focus area: we are analyzing which roles appear most frequently in our selected industry, what skills most consistently separate analyst, data scientist, and ML-oriented roles, and which combinations of tools, domain skills, and experience appear most valuable.
